Cody was born and raised in West Virginia. He was a collegiate baseball player for 2 years at the division two level before moving onto West Virginia University where he earned his B.S. in exercise physiology in 2010 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016.
Cody has dedicated his career to the orthopedic and sports physical therapy world treating patients that range in age from adolescents to the elderly. He has experience working with people of all fitness levels including athletes up to the collegiate level. He has a passion for manual therapy techniques and an individualized focus to help patients return to what they love to do and reach their personal goals. He incorporates various techniques to help his patients reach these goals including dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations and manipulations, cupping, and vertigo treatment. He believes that each patient is different and is driven to figure out what combination of techniques works well for that patient to move better and feel better.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and two dogs, watching sports (especially his WVU Mountaineers), running, being outdoors, and discovering new breweries and craft.
